Yup, stock springs are good for a 500 lift.

So how much lift is the 00 Z compared to the SS? IF it will work wouldnt' the SS be better? Don't forget, I really care about low end, so the ss maybe too much? for now anyway?

I'd lay some money that the SS cam is identical to the Z28 one. That SS has what a body kit, a slightly louder exhaust system, and a tad freer flowing intake?
