Just a quick question. Have a 2001 5.3 (Silverado z71) with 250K miles. Lifter is down. So down the push rod is messed up. Looked at replacing lifters (all of them) since we are at such high miles with the entire engine. Lifters, head bolts, gaskets etc. +$400.

Found a 1999 5.3 Pull-out with 140K for $300. We will just be using the long block assembly and moving all the other parts over from the current engine.

Are there any "gotcha's" I need to consider or watch out for.
