So I have a 5.3l iron block stock bottom end with stock 862 heads
Small comp cam ls6 springs couple other things
In a 99 silverado
Future plans of goin turbo. So what kinda heads
Can I throw on this thing without having to make huge
Changes to the rest of the motor. Also a budget build.
Will a set of ls1 heads do the trick?
And yes I'll probably try to get ahold of a better cam for the set up

you can get a set of 243 heads or you can port the stock 862 heads, with a valve job.
keep in mind you will have to buy gaskets and head bolts also.

 

Currently has all ARP bolts but would like to do head studs eventually to cover my ***
