Using edit, I just copied and pasted the 02 tables. Runs great.

Thanks J
So would that be the same as a 02 vin flash?,that is what im considering doing with a spare PCM which is my OE 00 PCM that has a ED W. locked tune in it.I was thinking of having it flashed with a 02 Vin and use my Edit that I have yet to use.

I copied over some 02 tables into my 00 file as well and it is working fine but it did not remedy the false knock issues I had till I started playing with the knock settings. From my understanding, the tables are mapped in different locations on the 99-00 than the 01-02 so you can't simply flash an 01-02 .ls1 file onto a 99-00 pcm or viceversa. As for using a tech2 at the dealership to flash in a later vin, I dont know how that works.

This is the info im after before I send out my PCM, Or I can get a 01-02 core pretty reasonable and then do a vats relearn and then try edit.

That is the way I am gonna go more than likely, seems to be the easiest and "proven" method. That way I wont have to worry about still tweaking it to get rid of the kr*, it will (should) be gone with the truck running on the 02 tune!

Yeah I had to monkey with the knock sensor settings A LOT. My wife thought I was having an affair because i would flash then drive and log. Gone many a night but I finally got it.
