Question '96 Burban Questions

Alrghty, i have a '96 Burban with a 5.7 vortec. If it was an older vehicle this would be easy as pie, but it's got a good old computer on it, and it has to pass inspection since it is my daily driver. I was thinking of going several different ways, but dont know if i can do what i want. One way was to keep the engine stock and add stuff like throttle body spacer, cold air intake, headers, true dual exhaust, hypertech programmer, cold thermostat, limited slip posi with 4.56 gear(3.73 stock) Would that be a good gear to go to"4.56". Another way was to go with a supercharger. And then i was wanting to know if i could go with a 383 stroker bottom and keep my heads and then i dont know what to do about my intake, do i have to keep it like it is, or can i buy a fuel rail setup instead of my throttle body. Give me advice on what to do to make this baby run and still pass inspection. I will be doing the true dual and the headers anyways, so i will have all the exhaust i need. So cant i buy supercharger, or fuel rail setup, can i buy a different intake that will work with my throttle body, do they double port throttle bodys for my truck, i have alot of questions, so feel free to answer each one, or tell me what would be the best way. Thanks

Whats your budget? What size tires are you running? I would say stick with 3.373 or go 4.10 unless running the off-road tires.

Look at my cardomain for mods. And yes, I do pass strict CA smog laws with my vehicle in sig.

Could i get a 383 rebuild kit, to turn my block into a 383, then get my heads rebuilt. Would that work out pretty good?

Still think the ZZ would be the best option. Apparently a straight swap...no tuning necessary.
