Default 95 Sub. need help w/LS1 fan install??

I have some LS1 fans that I want to install in my 95 Sub. Has anyone done this? I know the new ones have kits for the wiring but I'm not sure on the 95'. What would be the easiest way to do this??
Thanks

I have my LT1 fans on a 30A switch. Mainly because the thermo-switch burnt up. I can turn them off or on when I want. Which is usually when I get in or out of the veh. I don't mind, and can't forget them, they're loud!

Does anyone make a kit which can be computer controlled? My wife drives the Sub. It would be better if she didn't have to remember to turn them on.

I tried a few options on my '95 truck and finally used a summit switch in the intake manifold. You MUST use a relay with this switch. I also wired in a manual switch so that I could avoid it getting hot before it did. The wiring is simple and it worked much better than any of the 'probe' type afterthought thermostatic switches.

The only slight compromise I would suggest for this application, though, is to use a 160 thermostat in manifold because if you use a 180 thermostat, the fans will be running a lot...

if you need help wiring, i can put together a basic scematic for this setup for ya...

A schematic would be great!! I have to admit I'm not much of an electrician. Do you happen to have a part number from Summitt? I agree with not wanting to run a probe.

i looked up the summit number earlier and simply forgot to paste it

The relay and switch kit for $50

Or the switch alone for $28

I'll draw up a schematic later and post it.

Thanks Phil - that's a big help!! I might have to chime in with some questions once I start the install. It looks pretty straight forward.

Do you know any sites that sell parts for my Sub. Do the new 17" wheels and tires on Tah/Sub or trucks fit my 95'. They have 15" rims on them now and I need new tires.
