whats up guys , i havent been here ina while hello to everyone , well i got a problem , there is this friend with a 94 lightning he says it has a 351 and said mine would lose cuz of my "small" motor 5.3 and says he runs 14.8 stock at valle hermoso tamaulipas across the border , so you guys think it runs 14.8 stock oh and he says he even beat a 400SS silvy 01 i think i can beat him but have any of you raced one ? oh and i dont want to take out the lightning my friends call me the bully when i race someone with it so can i beat it? laters.

 

oh guys and i already got my maganaflow its not too loud its just right i wish it was a little quieter.

 

I was so close at lineing up with one this past summer but the damn light didnt turn green. I thought they werent anything different than a stock 351? I thought they just didnt have a governor. I think you will beat him.

 

i thought L's run better than a 14.8 stock.

i was thinking 13's. but maybe i am wrong

 

the new ones run 13s but i dont think the old ones can run 13s.

 

The 94 model wasnt supercharged and came with a 240 hp 351. They run 15's

 

It just depends how fast your 99 is. those 1st gen lighting run anywere from low to mid 15's stock. He is bushitting you if he claims run a 14.8 bone stock unless he got the king of freaks of the 1st gen L's like H777 did with his long bed Ram.
