Please keep this on topic. Yes I know 918's are the best, but lets ignore that for sake of this arguement.
What would you choose? 915's or ls6 springs?
Please keep in mind the price is quite a bit different. Are the 915's really worth the extra $100?
I think they're both good to about .580 lift. The 915's I think are good to maybe .600
EDIT-This is for a comp cams 224/224 .563/.563 non xer.

Well, I believe the 915's are a bit stonger and are rated to .600 lift also I believe. And the cam you are wanting to run would be right on the ragged edge of what the Z06 springs could handle.

It's not on the x-er lobes so the ramp rate isn't as fast.

I had 915's and switched to LS6's just for the get in and go factor. From what I've read and heard, the Comp springs are "brittle" (for lack of a better word), and require that you get some heat into them before getting too into the throttle. I have a tendency to hit my snooze button to the last possible second, requiring that I take a record breaking shave and shower, jump in my truck, and run. I usually let it heat up for about 1/2 a cigarette, but then it's go time. I've also heard that for longevity, on cams with lower lift and slower ramp rates, the LS6's will give you more miles before recommended replacement. I don't have any facts to back this up, just what I've learned here and on Tech.

budhayes3- yea that is why I mainly want to go with z06 springs. They were obviously built for longevity since GM put them in their vettes and nobody seems to have trouble with them wearing out.
I also hear alot of people saying don't run them on cams with over .550 of lift but I have yet to hear of one breaking.
