haha, yeah - something about the rotating mass of a 6cyl 408ci engine just don't appreciate moving that fast. crazy

as for the car, we've got her 'soft capped' at 6500, but the built 243s & cam could go 7000+ easily... it's just that poor stock LS1 block & rotating assembly we're trying to save. something about having full power & boost not too far above idle & then pulling up to whatever 650h/630t + 3psi equates to.

i don't believe there's an actual rev limiter set because it's a cog drive & we've seen that go south on other builds enough times.

does remind me of a couple builds from a while back:
an 8000rpm LSX454 C6Z (can't find videos now)
& an 8500rpm LS7 Camaro


bet at least one of them are running 862s

I remember seeing that Camaro on youtube before sounds wicked! I highly doubt the 862s but I also bet they don't have 243s.
