Default 85MM Throttle Body on LS1 Intake

So will a 85mm throttle body fit on a ls1/ls6 intake? currently i have a ls1 intake on my truck with the stock throttle body and plan on goin to the ls6 after the 1st of the year..and i was just goin to see if it would be worth going to the 85mm throttle body.i can get them for under 200 dollars where i work..

i do not think the inlet on the intake is 85 mm, I am pretty sure they use an adapter that negates the 85mm TB upgrade IMO.

What would support a comment like that? Did you consider that there might be possible mods in the future that will require the mod?

You dont need a 408 with a super secret cam and L92 heads to make use of a better intake
