easy a Low CR 6.0 with a lite mild cam, in a heavy truck isnt going to need a 85mm tb being NA. now with boost then you would worry about totally different intake and a 90mm tb

You don't need a 90mm throttle body to make big power with boost. In fact it's even less of an issues with certain types of FI. If it's a roots/screw blower, then that's different, but not with a centrifi or turbo.

My beef with going with an 85mm is it seems like a lot of work to go through just to not have almost a 90mm TB.

Hows does the history of my motor have anything to do with anything? Nice try buddy. Whether you meant it to come off that way or not it did and you are wrong end of story. Not to mention on a turbo or centrifugal supercharger it is LESS important to have a great flowing intake, the air is getting rammed down the engiens throat, with a "small engine and cam" it is even more important make it easier for the "little" engine to pull the air in. Go back to the drawing board.

Dirt-I would just port your factory tb and epoxy it and go with the LS6 intake, if it was me.
