You don't need a 90mm throttle body to make big power with boost. In fact it's even less of an issues with certain types of FI. If it's a roots/screw blower, then that's different, but not with a centrifi or turbo.
My beef with going with an 85mm is it seems like a lot of work to go through just to not have almost a 90mm TB.

whats an ls2 got?? 90mm..ive got my cam sold to a friend and im lookin for a 232+ duration cam..after xmas ill be lookin for an ls6 intake and heads..but from some of the stuff ive read the inside of the ls1/ls6 intakes are still 78mm so its really pointless unless it can be ported out

Dirt-I would just port your factory tb and epoxy it and go with the LS6 intake, if it was me.

has an 85 mm inlet...they also have this style intake with an 96mm that accepts the ls1 injectors..
