Ok, say you had an 8.1L motor minus heads. Is there anything I could rape from it for my 5.3L? I can get parts from one and the only thing is, is that I have to be able to ship them back from Iraq... Any help???

There's nothing on that engine that will fit yours.

Too bad it's only a short block, because if it had the intake, at least you could get a hold of the injectors and set on them untill you need them.

 

injectors are the only L18 (8.1L big block) engine part that will fit the 5.3L, AFAIK

 

I don't think sitting around on a set of 31lb injectors is worth it if he had them...just my 2 cents

 

Those are completely different engines. They really don't share any common parts expecept for some bolts, sensors, and injectors. However I would think 8.1 injectors would run very fat in a small block, at least at WOT.

 

I didnt think much would fit but I seen guys on here running the injectors on their 5.3's and thought it might help I figured ****, they are free why not?
