Would swapping an 8.1 liter engine into a half ton Silverado be considerably harder then say a 6.0 liter. What would be involved?

 

Im not sure exactly what would be involved but the 8.1 swap would be a lot harder than the 6.0 swap. If you searh this forum you will find the answers you need.

Basicallly no body on this forum has done it yet, Mainly because of the low aftermaket support. Can be done though.

I will find more on different products this spring. Might make a ram jet conversion for my truck, have to see, got to figure out some costs first.
