8.1 Guys - Please step inside....
Need to know what applications the 8.1 came in that had the a/c compressor mounted HIGH on the driver side.
Also need to know options for clutch applications to bolt the 8.1 with a stock 8.1 flywheel to an older GM trans.
ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE - links...pointers...are all good.

High mount A/C I think is an RV application. I found some pics of 8.1 in Kodaks and Top Kicks and the compressor is high on the pass side.
Any big block neutral balance flywheel will work on the 8.1l. As far as clutch options on a stock 8.1 flywheel I cant help.
