Yea thats normal. I think the 1 7/8" headers also make it worse. I had some 1 5/8" headers on a vortec 350 and the tick was nothing like the 1 7/8 on the 6.0. Its something you grow to like believe it or not... something about that tick is associated with performance in my head now...

 

Got the JRE tune loaded today. It's a whole different truck. This thing is fun to drive now. It will get moving for a big Z71 truck. The bug has bitten me, looking for a cam now. With my mods, about what crank hp numbers do you think I'm at?

 

Just installed a set of pacesetters on my 6.2z. Did u install the rear 02s or just running the front ones?? I have a miss now but it's getting worse. Only feel it at low and mid throttle? Check everything and it throws no codes?? Wondering if could b the 02s that's the only difference??

 

Make sure none of the plug wires are hitting the headers.

 

Did you have a tune before the headers?

Did you reuse your cats or replace them?

Do you think the noise will be a problem on 10 hour hauls?
