Anybody got a sound clip or experience on how loud it is... bought a new 4x4 and just wana little sound nothing crazy! if anything ill be going with the big body magnaflow muffler if i cant find anything on the borla..

From my experience they are mild at idle and LOUD at WOT! It all depends on how the exhaust pipe is ran and exits though. For example, I have my dual 2.5's exiting in front of the rear tire and there is no drone! It is also mild while driving normal. However, at WOT it comes ALIVE!

well its a 2011 gmc sierra.. the pipe is 3.5" cat back.. ive had the big body muffler from magnaflow before and loved it with stock exhaust on my 09 6.2 ccsb... im really looking for that noise level that the magnaflow gave me.. but i like the borla wot sound better.. and just didnt know how bad it was with regular driving levels.. and ill be leaving the resonator as well..

I ordered a Hooker AeroChamber from Jegs for $70.00 welded in place of factory muffler and ran out the back sounded great with the resonator but i wanted louder so i dumped it. Then it was too loud lol so i ran dual pipes out the back and now it has a nice mean rumble to it.

I also chose the Hooker because its different from what everyone else has and has a unique sound IMO.

I have a round borla muffler that's about 14" long on my 3.5" exhaust and it sounds similar to a glass pack at wot. I think I'm going to try out a magnaflow next...
