6.0L w/ cam

so what should i do with it? just buy a whole new one or what. also, im wanting to get around 400 something hp and ppl were telling me it wouldnt be hard with a 6.0L. i can get the engine and tranny and computer all for 2,500 and a grande to put in. that leaves me 2,500 for performance.

If you got the funds... 400 horsies and building up the tranny to handle that should not be a problem especially if you do the work yourself which I assume you are??
right away I would tear it down replace clutch packs maybe solenoids and put in a shift kit or servo or stall converter.
That 400 horse range though will take a bit more than a few simple bolt on mods though. It is easy to get out of it but you would prolly be loookin at doin a nice cam, intake, TB, headers, exhaust, maybe fuel upgrade, spark, underdive pulley, thermostat, maybe some e-fans, and then get a nice tune to get it all to gel nicely together. Not all of this will be needed but just trying to throw some ideas at ya that are relatively inexpensive. You wanna go more?? gonna prolly have to start lookin at a turbo or SC kit.
