I run Frankenstein ported 317's, a custom Frankenstein cam(222/228-.599/.589, 111+3) SE long tubes, single 3" exhaust on a stock LQ9 short block. Made 375/407 without any effort. I have since added true duals, tbss intake, and 90mm TB. The new mods have added power for sure. I would guess over 400 now with a **** load of added torque. 3200 circle D, built 4L60. All in an 02 z71. I have also upgraded the fuel system and added a 200 dry shot. I have probably put close to 40 bottles through it. With only a couple of plug tips damaged (too much timing) I got 18 mpg on a trip from Dallas to Vegas. I could not be anymore happier with my Frankenstein set up. Plenty of drivability, power and not too bad on milage. Before the stall I could pull my 20' dovetail all steel trailer loaded down with my drag truck S-dime like it wasn't even there. With stall, I got to baby it! Too much stall for towing. I keep wanting to turn it up with Frankenstein TF 237's and bigger cam but don't want to kill low end power.
