Be a boss, go with a square port 2300 and use the sauare to catherdal adapters.
Grab a set of used lsa injectors or two and send them FIC.
Spec your "custom cam grind" for this set up and go with the intentions of later swapping heads tp square port and a new cam.
Your power level will be outstanding on each future upgrade.

Lol. I'm just going to go with the 1900. Looks like they both come with the same injectors, pump and pulleys. I guess it's capable of 750hp. I don't see me ever taking it past that. I'm thinking I'll start at 6psi and work up to maybe 10 ish. Thinking long tubes and 90mm body then cam and head work later if needed.

The 2300 blower comes with 60 pph injectors and not 42s like the 1900 does. Otherwise it's all the same kit for a gmt800 truck. I sold my fuel pump to a buddy... going single 450 to start... and I bought the heavy duty tensioner over what the kit supplies. In all reality I won't probably use much of the kit.. but then I'm not a stock 6 liter either. A buddy of mine sold his whole setup to a guy and he put it on his cam only 2000 5.3 truck. Added a tvs 1900 and long tubes and it made around 511 whp in a 2wd 1/2 ton... I think he ran the 3 inch pulley on the blower. The 1900 makes good power.. and if you aren't doing internals especially you may as well just run it.

Probably talked to someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. I got my kit in December of 2016 so it's not even a year old and I doubt anything has changed. Be pointless to sell the larger supercharger and leave the same injectors as the smaller one anyway.
