anyone know the rating on the injectors? im wondering if I really should change the injectors for the cam, because now is the time to do it

 

All 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 from 2000 and up have 25.4 lbs/hr injectors I belive.

 

26 lbs/hr @58psi

 

My `03 LQ4 has 24.5 Lb/Hr injectors. And with just tune and bolt-ons i am pretty much maxed out ~85% to 95% duty cycle havent hit 100% yet, but 42 Lb'ers are going inbefore anything else happens so nothing goes boom.

In short, atleast put 42 Lb'ers in as more injector is better than not enough...

 

The number I've heard is 24.7 lb/hr for 00 and up injectors (4.8-6.0), and 21 lb/hr for 99 injectors. I've also heard 31lb for gas 8.1 injectors, and 42 for marine injectors.

I'd like to see a solid write up or spec sheet to clear this up....seems to be alot of differing info out there

 

hmmm, now im really wondering how the f-body guys are running this cam with their stock injectors, cos theirs I do believe are 26/hr, or so my dad's firehawk was anyways

 

i run 30s in my setup, also some fbodys have 25s and some have 28s
