I ORDERED THE ONE WITH THE .581 .588 LIFT AND .224 .230 DURATION ON 114LSA SO YOU THINK I CANT GO WRONG IS THAT RIGHT

Not sure about the 230,will be harder to Idle tune and will lose mileage.I would play it safe with 224/224 .Thats just me

What about the heads?Since they are off why dont you ship them to APE or someone good like them. You have the heads and springs already, for about $1000 or so they could do a nice stage 1.5,that would be good for another 25-30HP,hell your already apart.

These guys are tops in customer service and the finest work availible.Chris or Nick can help, dont know the other guys.Keep in mind these guys are flexible and can negociate. You could shop them against force fed motorsports also. The set of 6.0 heads we got were $1500 outright. You have your own set and if you already have springs you should be in the $1000 mark for 1.5 stage new valves ect.One way to hit them is say look this is my budget and you have another place recommend they could do it for less but you heard they were tops on customer service and quality.

Why all the yelling? The 224/224 cam has been fine for my everyday driver, but with my setup, I'm getting about 14mpg and that's in my light *** truck. I drive around 60mph everywhere I go(except when the need to haul *** comes up.)

I lost a good amount of mileage with my TR220-112... mainly because my truck is not setup for it. I even lost a bit with just my current cam installed. I gained some back with the rockers and even more with the Crane tuning, but I'm not sure I'm back to where I was with the stock cam. I basically accept the fact that I need to burn some gas to get the performance I have at the crack of the throttle.

I believe QuietTahoe picked up mileage with very similar mods, except his stick is on a 114lsa. I'm not sure what motor he's running. A 5.3?

To me, cam-only - the gain mileage / lose mileage line is somewhere around the 210-212/218 114LSA range.

Yeah, it's tame enough to have for everyday driving. The power really starts coming on after 1600rpms. I'm curious to see what this cam can do infront of a 3200 stall. I'm running 3.73 gears, but my foot probably hurts my gas mileage more than anything.
