Default 6.0 w/ 4.8 tuning problems

Ok, im having a problem with the 6.0 on 4.8 tuning. When in 2nd gear after it hits about 4k rpm the TC unlocks and it revs to about 5500 rpm then locks back, then unlocks again, and it keeps doing this. Im guessing this is the 4.8 tuning on my LQ9 6.0. Im not sure if im gonna go with FMS or nelson. What do you guys think?

Mine is doing something similar. Although I believe mine is just slipping from 2-3 gear. Are you gonna do a mail order tune or put your truck on the dyno and get it tuned?

mail order tune from nelson is around 400, where as a dyno tune which is only 5-10 minutes from my house is about 500. not sure what im gonna do, im just babying it right now.

Dyno tune by far!!! If you have the ability to do it that way. Do it!! Not downing Allen, but a dyno tune will yield a "spot on" tune!!

I agree, even though allens tunes are good, get on the dyno for 100 bucks more and get spot on, and if you add something down the road, easier upgrades to the tune!

Waiting on Futral to give me a call back, then hopefully it goes to him for a little tuning.
