all those mods and parts will work with both engines so you should consider modding your 5.3 with the mods you would do to a 6.0 and just run it hard. see how long it lasts

I am building a 6.0 now and will just swap it out. That way I can build it a little as I go and research the parts. If you are thinking about pulling your motor I would start to build a back up plan now.

I would mod your truck as is then save up for a motor and jump in. the build itself is a lot more extensive than you would think on the surface. Trans, DS, little things like connectors, then you need to make sure the motor runs, get any machine work out of the way, then do the internals/heads before you put it in. Basically make sure you can do everything up to tune before you drop it in.

Not trying to deter you but its some work, Im in a little over my melon myself so I need to relax about it for a little while
