Ive spun mine stock 6.0 shortblock up to 6600 quite regularly.

its an '03 model, and i guess they upgraded the stock rod bolts in 2000.

totally agree, I almost pointed out the fact that you didn't as well.

What I like about the Katech's is that they advertise their bolts as such and are reputable, they are the bolts I will be buying.
