Default 6.0 In And Running Good

Well Today Was The First Time I Get To Drive My Truck Since Febuary But A Whole New Truck.i Have A 145 Amp Alt On It And Only Getting 13.0 Volts On The Gauge Anyone Havr This Problem Before?
With E-water Pump 3 Fans It Stays At 13.0 I Don't Like It That Low Some Thing Just Don't Seem Right Don't Know What It Is Yet.any Help Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciaced

Sounds right to me thats alot of juice and 13 is what my truck sits on without any of those electrical components.

Normally 13 would be a little low (stock electrical stuff). Did you put a voltmeter across the batt to see what it's getting from the alternator? If it's really putting out only 13v it would seem the built-in regulator can't hold it higher with the high current flow.

You could disconnect some of your stuff and see if it jumps up to 13.5,14 or higher. If it does,and you are sure everthing is/was installed right,then maybe you need an even higher-output alternator. Is there a 160 amp one?

I Will Be Able To Answer That ? Tomorrow I Wll Be @ The Trackall Out With Extra. But I Will Not Be Shifting That High For The First Time Out.
I Have Not Turn It To 6k Yet But It Does Feel Good.so For So Good
