Default 6.0 with L92 heads

theres a 6.0 for sale with L92 heads that came out of a 2006 van. He says the oil pump started going out on it. its for $300. I think this would be a good opportunity for my first build. if it lost oil pressure it should be able to be bored out to clean it up right?

So long as it didnt seize cam up in a bearing or starve the mains/rods you should be fine.... Id make sure it turns over first....$300 isnt bad for it though, if all in fact it needs is to be gone through and an oil pump

Id jump on it.... Just make surenit turns over before you buy it and if they let you take timing cover off to just be sure everything is turning and they havent pulled timing chain or something stupid...

It should be worth that for parts alone as a core. Provided its not locked up and did not spin any bearings.

As long as it didn't throw a rod and screw the block and heads up it's worth $300. The accessories along are worth that, heads are worth that as well. Either way it's a good deal.
