Default 6.0 l swap

ok what is all involved with a swap in a 2000 gmc ecsb with a 4.8 to a 2004 6.0l out of a 2500hd can i use my stock 4l60e tobolt in if i use my torque converter flexplate ect... i have read some stuff that the 6.0l crank is longer and if i was to use the 4l80e what would need to be done???? i recently finished up this swap and now are having problems with my tranny i think its burnt up now it likes to slip in 2nd gear it pulls good but then just starts hitting the rev limiter and is acting all crazy when i dynoed it yester day it was putting 251hp 291tq to the wheels and it was runnin fine until later that nite i was gonna go to the track also as far as i can tell the tranny is original, if it is then it has 93,000 miles on it

Your crank should be fine. Just on the 99-00 motors there is a problem.
