6.0 install

Default 6.0 install

just finsh up my lq4 install , man what a differance with all my add ons it was crazy now i have to go see allen for a retune ,,,, but i kind a f**k up i was installing a yellow optima batt and i touch !!!!!! pos & neg together everything seem alright except the gauges arent working if i start the engine with the door open ,,, with the door close every works fine but if i step on the brake or turn on the a/c everything goes nuts plus i'm in park and the daytime running lites are on need help anyone know where to start i,ve already replace a couple fuses but still doing the same thing help!!!!!

all ground straps that were remove when the install was done are all connected and good anywhere else ???

I've read that an alternator going out will do funny things to the electrics. It is directly in the circuit you shorted. Just guessing here. Could have fried the PCM.

kysilverado , if you were here i would ask you to slap me !! me and the wife were double ck everything then she ask about the huge ground strap that was laying on the floor , and well i gave it a try. it goes to the block & fire wall kept my fingers & toes crossed and said a pray and wha la every back to normal thks ky silverado . if you wouldnt have suggested the grounds i would have probally shot the truck or set it on fire thanks again
