I'd be curious of this, too. I've heard 198/197, .478"/.478", 115 LSA; 198/207, .478"/.478", 115 LSA; and 197/208, .478"/.478", 115 LSA. Surely someone has to know for sure!

I think you're right for the '98-'00 cams. The '01's and '02's have the 6.0L cam. I'd be interested in seeing what kind of gain could be had w/ the cam swap.

454HO, how accurate is the info on the LS1 data base? where does this info come from? Never heard of this site.. By comparing peak HP on dynos between f bodies and 6 litres it still seems that the f body has more cam.. I know there are a lot of other factors to consider but it seems that way.. I make peak power at 5100 with no bolt ons.. I know make peak power at 5300 with air induction and tuning but still a lot less than the f body..

I'm not sure. But I do know for sure that the 2001 did get a different cam with the aluminum heads, along with less restrictive exhaust. Its in all the 2001 GM literature. I looked on the guys web site that posted the cam specs. and couldn't find anything to comfirm the specs. I would like to know too.

Thanks for the link and its the best info we have so far but I still need more back-up before I go and pick a cam based on the y body specs.
I think we know for sure that the 5.3`s 2001 5.3 got the 99-2000 6 litre cam but we still are not sure what cam the 01-02 6 litre have. Did it stay the same or change again? Thats my question
