Default 6.0 2500hd need more power ideas

Its a 04 2500hd and I tow about a 7500 to 8000 lb fifth wheel and she does alright but I would like a little more. What are some options besides supercharging ( to much $$ )..

less than $1k gets you a set of factory E fans, a better PCM tuned for towin or whatever you want, a cold air intake or homemade/drop in for less and maybe a replacement muffler.. I've done all except for the muffler on my 012500HD and was pleased with the slight increase I feel, mileage is the same and I'm out bout $600 so far, I'm hesistant on the muffler just because I wonder if it really does anything, and it will be louder which I don't want and prob won't be stainless which the factory stuff is, BTW the big block uses the same exhaust setup as the 6.0 so how bad can it be??

Custom tune and exhaust. I tow a 8500# 5th wheel. The turbo was the best thing i did.

I agree with Jerry. A computer tune with towing in mind and an exhaust system (i prefer Magnaflow) will be the best things you can do without getting really expensive.
