i agree... if you do alot of work with your vehicle i'd recomend the 6.0 or can't afford a stall to go with it. the 5.7 is a great buy, but in LS6 form it's going to need a stall to make it pull decent out of the hole at all. it would be nice to have the lower weight of the LS6 though. tough call on the two.

My 6.0L (LQ4) was $1600 new (EBAY) and the true LS6 complete motor (which you would want for the intake, throttlebody, injectors, etc) is in the $7000 range. The LS6 swap is cool, but so is a blown 6 liter. ****, no matter what way you go you'll have a bad **** on your hands! And everyones' doin' 6.0 Liter swaps, the Z06 motor would definately be something different.
