Of course this is just me, but with the limited amount of boost the Radix can push out to a large C.I. motor, there really isn't a huge need to drop the CR that much. I don't see you needing 9:1 CR with only 8psi of boost.

If you think you'll have much more that 8psi after heads, headers, 3" exhaust, and that large cam, I doubt it. That doesn't mean it will be any less powerful, just that its more efficient in getting air in and out, making more power on 8psi.

Be sure to put a smaller pulley on your list of things to get. With those heads, cam and exhaust you will loose a good bit of boost. Thats what is great about making it more effecient, you can cram even more air in there and make mo power
Example-my 6.0 with cam(smaller than yours), head work, and very freee flowing exhaust. I was able to make 10psi boost on a stock 6.0. It dropped to
6.5-7 with the new setup. I'm now back up to 10psi with my new pulley.
I'm also at 9:1 CR.

Nope, still just a hot air blower, lol. Strange though, I havent had any KR problems. 10psi on stock 6.0 and made 442rwhp with it. With the new setup i'm not having any KR issues yet and it isnt even tuned yet. I'm hoping metalman will come up with somthing or maybe the Kennebell intercooler might work with the Whipple when they release it. I'd fab up my own like some others have, but I'm not the best at that stuff. Making my own would be a last resort.

You can bet that if whipple ever does come out with an intercooled system, it will be an expensive conversion. I'd put money down that KB would be the first released, but I doubt that it would directly bolt in with a whipple.

I have the 42 lb injectors now, thats why I mentioned the SVT's.

That's the thing, I tend to agree with you on this, maybe I'll price out some forged pistons in a flat top and see what I come up with.........

Racetronix sells a 60lb high z shorty that might be worth looking into. You might be able to plug them in and rescale the injectors and the extra capasity won't hurt either.

Why up the injector size? I though 42pounders could support 500rwhp no problem??
If not, then I may need to start thinking about the future of my injectors, i hope I can break 500 with my setup, but who knows what this pos Whipple will end up doing
