I took my restrictor plate completely off and put two new rivets back in the holes. It did make it more touchy.

I have a 80mm bbk thorttle body sitting at the house. Used it on my 96 5.7 when I had it. If anyone is interested I'd sell and ship it for $100.

first off, take the two torqx screws out and slide the TB blade out, then with the flat head screw driver take and pry the restrictor plate off, i sealed the two holes back with steel rivets but epoxy or silicone will work as well. NOTE IF THE 2 HOLES ARNT SEALED CORRECTLY IT WILL RESULT IN HIGH IDDLEING ISSUES!!

RESULTS 25% more air flow

that't the first thing I did on both of my OBS trucks when I got them. I like the better response, and I'm sure it helps some, even if not a lot, at WOT. Good mod and free for me!

Still have it by any chance? I know it's been awhile since you posted but just wondering?

I’ll take that deal. Did you see a noticeable improvement in the way it ran?
