5.3L intake on a 96 350, will it work?
#1
I have heard from several sources that a 5.3 intake out flows an LS1 and other stock intakes. I was thinking about putting a 5.3 intake on my 1996 5.7 350. I plan to build a "non-stock" motor and I have found that my intake on my motor now sucks, and that you can't really get any more performance out of it. So I am going to other measures. Need some good feedback on this issue. Thanks

tehse are GM Marine intakes, you can use whatever size injector you want, on James' blown application he notices a huge dif. on my NA I notcice a large difference esp. 4500-5800 rpm even with teh stock shortblock and cam.
The Ramjet intake will also work.

a 5.3L intake isn't as good as the others out there. just put a ramjet intake on it, you'll be way better off.
