Yes! Replace head gaskets AND head bolts!

I wish you luck man. As it sounds like the guys at the junkyard are clueless.

They aren't fixing it if they try to reuse the gaskets and/or bolts.

Since when do so called mechanics at "junk yards" know to build motors or know how to fix a motor? All they do is rip **** out and sell **** for a good price, never rebuild.
Much luck to you. Pretty basic statement right here.

There not a normal junkyard there pretty sophisticated lol. I talked to them 2day, they said motor looks great. Nothin wrong tht they could tell, there having the heads checked to make sure there good. Only thing they found was a lil bit of dirt/ rust in the pan, no metal or anything like that, so there putting it back together with new head bolts an gaskets on monday, findout if its any better. Mayb somthin was loose an is now tightened up, they did say it could possibly b the timing but this was a loud fast ticking, so loud it pretty much overpowered the 6.0 with true duels no cats an flow 40s. Could timing b tht loud?

Dirt and rust in the pan? How does that happen? Were the lifters and cam removed and inspected? What's this timing you're referring to?

They said it was barely anthing, minmal but the rust was from the two cylinders tht had low compression im sure. Not sure about the cam. But i don't think so. Tho im pretty sure they checked te lifters, i will call monday morning an make sure. The timing in the tune, advance an retard, idk wat to call it sorry. Still learning on the fly.

No, nothing in your tune can cause your engine to make noise like that.

The noise you described sounded like valve train noise. The cam is one of the most important parts they should have checked. If a lobe is worn, you'll have a loose rocker, and noise. Should show up on the lifter roller too.
