Default 5.3 single cab/6.0 vho/ss silverado 1/4 mile times stock

ok stock 5.3 single cab with 373 vs vho vs ss silverado who is going to be quicker. what is stock 1/4 mile times for them? best ive seen is a 04 silverado 373 gears run a 15.01 at sea level

all low 15s in norcal. id say the RCSB 5.3 is the quicker of them stock. ss's respond to mods a little better than the rest. and the vho has the potential but then again they all do....my choice would be the rcsb5.3 in a race...mine went 15.1 in sonoma on 20s

well stock... I'd say the regular cab 5.3

modded for big HP... the SS is going to win because of the traction issue most of the time.

and with slicks.... the Reg cab 5.3 would run all over the SS and VHO all day long.


there are up sides and down sides to both trucks, but personally, i went with the reg cab.

My completely stock SS ran a 14.962 a couple weeks back in 75* weather.

Buy a 4.8l truck and spend under 2k dropping the 6.0 in. then really kill the other two. If the suspension is set up ok then you will have no traction issues. A cam swap along with all the bolt ons on the 5.3l would put you in the high 12's low 13's then spray your way to the 11's.

another truck its a done deal already bought last weekend 32 miles on the thing. put the gauges in today and have all color matched body stuff ready to go in. oh yah and k&N. singel cab 5.3 on 125 shot i was thinking about it but i have the sti for speed the 4x4 is for a nice cruizer

correct me if I'm smoking crack, but I believe I said Regualr cab, not extended cab.
