I have a 99 5.3 Silverado LT. 2 questions. #1: I see that the air intake tube has changed from the 99 to 01/02 models. Any more power or diff because of the change? Should I change mine to the newer style? #2: Anyone ever install Jacobs Ultra Street kit. Very $$$, is it worth the cash. What are the real world gains if any. Thanks everyone for your help.

 

I wasn't aware that JE had a DIS controller that would work for 8 channel operation. They do have a DIS controller but I thought it worked on a max of 4 coil packs.

I think Holley and MSD have the only ones which are compatible but both require crank trigger and other stand alone electronics...not to mention $1000+ price tags.
