i have a GMC 01 2500HD crew cab short box with the unpainted black plastic fender flairs. if i wanted the body color painted ones, what would be the best way to go about it? do they come painted directly from the parts department? or do they need to be painted? would the unpainted ones (textured) look as smooth if i painted them? same for the door handels (i have 4 of those).

 

I guess your truck is either White, red, blue, or maroon? Some guys at pickuptruck.com & thedieselpage have replaced their textured black flairs with smooth painted ones.

my truck is black. and the flairs are a dull black, that doent match the rest of the truck.
