HA! I will if you want to. I've got 4 5.3s now that they used Chinese lifters and trays that failed and ate the new BTR / Texas speed cams up and metal glitter in all the bearings.
Lifter trays were flexible like silicone

Yep... 2017... I bought my LQ9 (120,000) for $1,100 dollars.

My buddy "Bearfoot" (lastname) and me picked it up about 60 miles away.

Lost him in 2019, RIP my friend... he was 73 years old.

Still want to get me longblock rebuild, gm flat top pistons, gen 4 rods, 243 heads with blue springs, cam also Want find a fresh 4l60e and transfer case. Like get everything back to new. It will last longer. My current truck clocked at 305k

Reworked 706 heads would be a good choice too if you can get 93 octane. How many of those miles did you put on the truck? My truck might hit 300K... but I won't be around to see that milestone.
