Default 5.3 with long tubes which y pipe?

Well I'm about to go ahead and get long tubes and a proper tune on my truck but I have read lately that the 3' orp may be to much for the 5.3. I'm pretty certain I'm gonna go with Pacesetter's but should I buy their y or have my muffler guy fab one? I'm going to be building a 6.0 eventually but in the mean time the 5.3 is going to have to work. Also what is a good cam for a crew cab nnbs daily driver? My truck and mods so far are. Thanks for the help!

get the 3" pacesetter y-pipe and have a muffler shop customize it so it can bend behind the crossmember thats how i did it on my crew cab worked great and sounds awesome.

I think an Isky 210/216, .532''/.532'', 112* or 114* LSA would work well. That 210 lobe has a narrow 254* of duration @.006'' and is really torquy. For best results after you headers, and cam you should get a custom tune.
