where are you located. On the mail PCM you tell him what you want he sends it out you replace your old pcm and send him the unit. Pretty simple. If your in San Antonio or close you can get him to tune it on the dyno.

Man i 'm shocked no one else mentioned a higher stall torque converter. This would do wonders for your truck man. I installed on on my 00 5.3 and the difference is incredible, it has got to be one of the best mods out there for these trucks, i highly recommend it. Others should chime in on this. If you put this on your truck you won't be worrying about low end torque ne more but about getting traction at the rear wheels instead i gaurantee it.

here is the transgo shift kit - it comes with the corvette 1-2 servo

you will also need the OD servo (important for towing)

and metal accumulator (to replace the plastic one in there now)

and a new filter... if you want to change it...
options - billet 1-2 servo instead of the vette 1-2 servo. (i would stick with the vette servo)

Either the Yank 2600 or 3000 will be good for towing.
I went with the 2600 to be on the safe side with the towing thing. I plan on pulling around cars on flatbed trailers in the future. For now, I only pull 5,000lbs, 500 miles out of the year.
I heard more than once that the 2600 was a dream to tow with. It actually pulled better than stock with no ill side effects.
I gotta get that thing installed.
