Default 5.3 l33 or lm7

hi. I want to open share with yall. from my understanding that l33 is alum and lighter and high compressor than lm7. I been look at car-parts.com for l33 but very pricey. I asked them about l33 whole set up like accessieos alt, ac, ps, intake, wiring harness and electric gas pedal. They want for $1000 I WAS looking for around 800 with my limit budget. But I see Lm7 is more cheaper. Want to see your opinion about that, It would be nice to have L33

If your planning to do mods in the future the L33 is a better platform to start with.
higher compression, better heads, lighter block

For the extra couple hundred, it's worth it. Alot lighter, better heads, good rods, flat top pistons, LS2 timing set, etc. You can make more power, and you'll notice improved handling too(I did).

Yeah that what I'm doing. Look like I have to pay a little more $ on l33 to get it. The reason I plan to put on my 92 s10 truck it would be badass.

Was asking because it would greatly depend on the vehicle you want to out it in. Being a s10 I'd go with the lighter engine.
