Personally I'd go with the L33 for anything other than FI. It is just a better starting point IMO.

I guess I'm going to lm7 cause i found out about l33 easy break from starter bolt and others when you are on high performance upgrade. I don't want deal with breaking. I found a good deal 2002 lm7 5.3 80,000 miles for $180 dollars. Only I need acceries I can't spelling. Like bracket, ac, alt, ps if you know what I mean. Do you think 5.3 2002 is ok?

If your putting it in the 06 then the 02 will have a drive by cable and your truck is set up for drive by wire.

Oh I was plan to put 5.3 in 1992 S10 not 2006 silverado.

Good news I'm going buy and pick up engine tomorrow!its only 90,000 mileage on it. It was off the 2002 Tahoe SUV. Will take some pictures update here soon. It's a little dirty but will clean up

Hey. I finished pick up engine today. It look not bad. It's good deal I got it for $200 it's only 90,000 mileage. Lm7 5.3. I didn't relaized it's heads show 862. Do you think summit racing heads eldbrock is same as prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads?
