5.3 Header ?'s
Guys I have searched and still in a bit of a quandry. I am looking for some headers for my Truck and having a hard time finding anything and if I do they are way way to pricey. All I am looking for are some plain uncoated headers, nothing fancy. I put some Pacesetter longtubes on my TA not to long ago and liked em plus they were inexpensive. I really would prefer Long tubes but if there is something else affordable I would go that way.
Thanks in advance

Here is what I bought. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...earchtype=both
Under $300, stainless steel, with gaskets and bolts. I know, I know, they ain't long tubes. But they were $700 cheaper then the FLP's I wanted. I only paid $1600 for my complete 6.0L motor...I just couldn't do $1000 for headers, and then still need a custom Y pipe. Before I spent a grand on longtubes, I would get a converter and a set of the Edelbrocks. If I had the cash tho, I don't think the FLP Supermaxx can be beat. Check out TOG (the other guys) as well, a lot of people on here love them, and I think they are only around $700! (still pricey, but sweet)

Sorry the link is ****! I bought mine from www.summitracing.com. Part number edl-6500. From the link I gave you, scroll thru the manufacture name to Edelbrock, then part number edl-6500. They got a nice pic of them too.

ASMs are hard to beat, you have to wield the flanges to the cats, the stock w-pipes are pretty good though.Or you could do what I've done and order some mandril bends and a Flowmaster wye and lose the cats.I've also heard that Hooker is releasing long tubes for trucks, that could be worth looking into.
