is there any way to make my fuel injection carbulated and wat do i have to do?

carb'd intake, different fuel pump but you wont gain one ounce of HP from it what so ever. truck will run poorly and wont pass any emissions or inspections plus resale value of truck will be nothing

you know.. 5.3's dont have to stay in the truck they came in.. tis better to ask questions than assume.... he could be putting a 5.3 in a older truck/car that came with a carb..

but if he is wanting to convert his truck like you were answering it as, yes yer correct...tho it would have no reason to run poorly if setup right.

yes compared to todays EFI a carb'd cant touch it period

if putting it in an older car then MSD sells the conversion which is more money then making the EFI work.

i think the conversion kit is in ball park of 700. thats not even using the distributor either

this is going in to a a 99 gmc as u see in my picture...........i just want to be diffrent from the rest..........and i now with a good set up i will work.............right now i got a 5.3 block stroked out to a 383 and with satge 3 heads..........and i got a 231/231 cam at a 595/595 lift at a 110 lobe.........but now where do i go from here

do you plan on this being streetable, what tranny and better yet stall are you going to run?
I would stick with efi, it works!

+1...not trying to put down your idea at all but the big reason I would stay is it would be a lot easier getting parts and makin everything work together easier...

being different isnt always a good thing. look at emo ppl


a carb is for lawnmowers. old technology that cant complete with todays EFI.

but good luck with that
