Default 5.3 ????

Hello all,
I have been visiting this site for a couple of weeks off and on and I have a few questions.I understand most of the free mod's and have preformed them(t/body by-pass,EGR tube),but the MAF sensor descreen has me a little baffled. It sounds easy enough but my concern is that I will run very lean.(I'm 4wd and concerned about raw power not ET's).I will be installing headers soon and will be removing the cat's and stock e/manifold. (I live in SC and we have no inspection here).Another ? is are there some "sensor by-pass" plugs available for the EGR and O2 sensor.Last ? what are my stock injectors set at and will it help to set my fuel PSI higer.

seems like the descreening isn't proven, some people go back to stock even so i never did it. there is a programer called ls1edit it will let you get rid of the cats and the egr set up along with letting you adjust a ton of other stuff it is $550 and worth every penny but if you just want to get rid of the cats you can buy something called o2 simms that plug in place of the rear o2's and let you get rid of the cats. i am prety sure the size of yor injectors are 19lb/hr which should be fine for what you are doing right now, don't see any benifit in raising fuel presure.

do a search on ls1edit you will want one once you find out all it can do.
