Default 5.3 to 6.0 swap, help.

im thinkin bout swappin out the 5.3 to a 6.0. If anyone has done this could you help me out. And also what mods to do to the engine while ive got it out. Im wantin 400+. -99 silverado/5.3/Hypertech power programmer/k&n 77 series/heddman shorties/poweraid throttle body spacer

Pull out the 5.3 drop in the 6.0 done. Everything from the 5.3 is a direct bolt on. Do headers etc if you want. Get a custom tune done and put the hypertech programmer in the trashcan.

6.0 swap, a Radix, and a tune will get you over 400 RWHP for 4K or less if you go used and look for good deals.

get a nice (not to big)cam and some ported heads.. with some headers, WITH A GOOD TUNE and it should be somewhere close to 400 at the wheels..

i put down 364/374 with a cam only 6.0 LQ4...

Damn ballah!!! Its a lot easier to do than most think. Its just a paint in the tail when you have to have it done start to finish and running again in 2 days.
