I also say that you need a re-tune, even though it will run on the 5.3L tune. As has been said, the intake gaskets and such can be re-used, but also need to be examined before doing so. If when you inspect the gaskets, which are basically o-rings and you notice that they may not protrude past the surface that they are captured in, and if this is the case they need to be replaced.

I know old thread but I'm doing a 6.0 swap next weekend. Whats a good streetable cam and what do you guys rec to tune it with?
