Default 4L80 converter offset

What does the measurement from the bell housing flange on a 4L80 to the converter face need to be, prior to installing the transmission?

About an inch from the trans mating surface to the converter pads.

Calipers said 0.99", so I should be good. Thanks Atomic.

2800 rpm CircleD here, just installed the 4L80 a few days ago, first day tuning ON the road today. 12 pounds manifold pressure on pump gas.
So far, I HONESTLY wish I'd left the stock converter on it. Maybe I'll be able to play with lock-up at lower throttle openings, but the loose converter- Two-Stroke motocross bike theme is NOT my happy place for a daily driver
