4.125 stroke 4.060 bore nets a 427. I know of a few done with a Lq4 block.

To the OP, slow down, take a minute, relax. Think about what you are trying to do. A stroked DD is not a good idea, if you dont have a back up to drive when it breaks. And its not a matter of "if it breaks"...it WILL break eventually. Pushing a motor close to the edge on a daily basis will find weak spots, either in the sub-par manufacture quality, part design, something. I hate to be the nay-sayer, but I broke a rocker arm bolt on my drive home once. Sounded awful, luckily it was an easy fix. Its just a bad thing to do when you rely of the vehicle to take you to work. If I had it to do over, I would not have changed anything internally (I'm only heads/cam/exhaust). Just too much to be concerned with for my comfort level. Stay bolt ons on the DD and get a toy, or a beater to drive.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but if you ask pretty much anyone on this board that is running a stroked engine, I'm willing to bet that they have another vehicle if something goes wrong.[/QUOTE]

Yeah ima go with a pretty much stock 6.0 with a fast 102 intake and 92mm tb. But ima put a gmpp cam with 243/799 heads. With an upgrade tranny, 4l65e w/ tbss converter. Later will get a some lt.

@ shredsled yeah it has. Lol , After this engine I will be on the hunt for another block and then build the 427, so I say around feb I'll start looking.

@ ayousef what do you mean limiting myself? The 6.0 will be a jump from a 5.3 for now lol.

I would shy away from 4.125 stroke motors. There tends to be problems with that combo. You can, but I wouldnt go more than .30 over with a 6.0 block. If your set on building a stroker with a 6.0, a 408 is bulletproof. I just built one with Mast heads in my camaro and it makes gobs of power, mid 5 sec and mid/high 8sec car with a .82 jet

Yeah I have read alot of the problems. I havent had time to price how much a LS7 block and parts cost. But like I said this is going to be a project for a 67Nova that I am gonna buy. But I am gonna go EFI.

Stick with boring it out to a 408 like mentioned. Lately have seen guys having issues boring a 6.0 out more than they should have. Hell I would be stoked with a 408..

The 6.0 block is going to be bored .030 over for my daily driver. The second block (that I dont have) will be a project in the works that will not be done over night. It will take a couple years for me to finnish this Nova after ''I get it''. Which I dont have yet. lol due to my wife limiting the budget on my builds.
